Kathleen is currently finishing her Master of Science degree in Environmental Management at the University of San Francisco where she assists Dr. Gretchen Coffman in managing three riparian restoration research projects as a graduate research assistant. She has experience in systematized report writing, data entry, and statistical analysis using R-Studio, Microsoft Excel, and SigmaPlot. Kathleen coordinated field logistics for each research project which included mentoring volunteers in field research techniques and the use of equipment associated with vegetation and soil monitoring. Kathleen has a strong foundation in native plant identification through her fieldwork in California. She is also familiar with tropical and subtropical vegetation and ecology through her experience collaborating on Professor Coffman’s tropical ecological restoration research projects in Central Laos and Malaysian Borneo.
